Terms of service
Last updated 27 September 2026
These terms cover the use of ChatPower's web console and phone app by the stores we work with (“clients”) and their staff. A client's written agreement with ChatPower, where there is one, takes precedence over these terms.
Accounts
Accounts are created by ChatPower or by a client's administrator; there is no public sign-up. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us at support@chatpower.me if you think someone else has used your account. A client is responsible for who it gives access to.
Acceptable use
- Use ChatPower only to support your own store's customers.
- Follow WhatsApp's and Shopify's own terms and policies, and the law.
- Do not send spam, or content that is unlawful, misleading or abusive.
- Do not try to reach another client's data or disrupt the service.
The AI assistant
The assistant drafts and sends replies on the client's behalf, using the client's store data and instructions. It can make mistakes. It is designed to hand a conversation to the client's staff when it is unsure, and the client remains responsible for what its store tells its customers.
Data
The client owns its store data and its customer conversations. We use them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.
Availability
We work to keep ChatPower running and to fix problems quickly, but the service depends on third parties such as WhatsApp, Zoko, Shopify and AI providers and is provided without a guarantee that it will always be available or error-free.
Ending use
A client can stop using ChatPower at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will tell the client why.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Questions: support@chatpower.me.
